Portal

The transdimensional complexity
Of traveling through matter
Is a matter whose sparsity
Of discussion is rather
Intriguing to many, surprising to few,
Yet the unquestionable awesomeness
Of its practice is true.

So it begins... Team Fortress 2 Beta

Well hello to anyone that might come across this little blog! You'll find poems made by and for gamers here, and it will be updated every now and then (read: when we have free time) with new ones. Currently we only have two contributers, myself and Surcouf, but if anyone else wants to join you're free to send me an email with an excerpt of your work.

So, here are the first ones, about our love for the Team Fortress 2 Beta and our deep hatred of spies.

First, one by Surcouf:

I was playing in Hydro,
and my health was getting low.
I needed to find a doctor
to get back to the slaughter.

Now, walking with Übercharge,
Sacha's spread was large,
firing high caliber death,
never expecting the invisible threat.

And as I saw myself die,
I thought « fucking spies.».

And here is one by me:

The ammo was sparce
but the health was infinite,
as, along with my medic,
I advanced every minute.

As hard as they tried,
they could not evade
the fury unleashed
by the rounds Sacha sprayed.

Eventually, however,
one got through the blockade,
and, unseen, he struck
the killing blow with his switchblade.
